The way I would best describe this book is it’s the “ultimate snippet guide to guitar”. I’m torn on this one. It’s almost like the author has tried hard to improve on the classic Guitar Handbook by Ralph Denyer but failed miserably, probably because of restrictions and guidelines imposed by the publisher. The Chord Wheel: The Ultimate Tool for All Musicians

I’m dying to get my hands on this! If anyone’s bought it then let me know what you think. It sure does look a bit gimmicky but at the same time I get a feeling I could use this thing often. The editorial review on Amazon is nothing more than outrageous … “Master chord theory in minutes” It claims it will help you improvise and solo and a whole bunch of hyped nonsense that I can’t be bothered to repeat. Let’s face it, it’s a wheel! I have no idea what’s included in the micro packed 12 pages of content but I’ll hazard a guess that it’s virtually nothing.
